How much sugar does fruits have
Summer is the season of vibrant colors and raw colors, and if I were to summarize in a single image the emotion of the moment I would use a bowl with lots of fruit. As you already know, fruits are wonderful due to their high content of fiber and quality nutrients. In addition, they are easy to consume at any time and help us maintain our optimal level of hydration. Now follows a "gift"… But, they also contain sugar, which is not as beneficial to health, some even in significant quantities.
That is why I suggest you to continue making a journey among the most beloved fruits and to discover what secrets they hide in the chapter on fructose.
Cherries
It is no coincidence that they are said to be as sweet as sugar, because a handful of cherries hide 18 grams of sugar in the delicious core. If you put them in a large bowl, you can lose track of ingested sugar without realizing it. So, weigh them first, calculate the sugar in the composition and you will be reduced to one bowl at a time.
Watermelon
An average slice of watermelon has about 17 grams of sugar, but also a lot of water and minerals that the body needs to recover from sun exposure. Therefore, it is not at all a good idea to exclude it from the summer menu, only that it would be advisable to eat one or two servings at a time.
Grapes
It may not seem impressive at first glance, but believe me it's pretty much for some berries so easy to swallow one after another. How would you feel if I advised you to cut the beans into two larger ones, keep them in the fridge and then eat them as a refreshing summer dessert? Moreover, will you enjoy its flavor for a longer period of time? Bonus: avoid other desserts that are much more expensive in terms of caloric content.
Pears
An average pear has 17 grams of sugar, but you don't have to eat it all at once, possibly move on to the next one. I have a much more delicious idea: use a few slices to give a special taste to your raw salad and keep the rest for the low-fat yogurt that you will consume at the next snack.

Figs
If you arrive in Greece this summer, you will come across fresh figs everywhere. You will also find them in our markets. Two medium figs have 16 grams of sugar. I recommend you cut a few and eat them with goat cheese, for a high-protein meal. Or you can mix them in the chicken sauce (without skin).
Bananas
An average banana has 14 grams of sugar. If it looks more than you like, spend half of it on whole grains in the morning and use the other half for the peanut butter sandwich for lunch (but skip the dessert at the next meal).
Mango
Would you have imagined that a single mango has 45 grams of sugar? Therefore, it is not the best choice if you try to keep your weight under control or if you carefully monitor the amount of sugar consumed, for health reasons. My recommendation: enjoy a few slices for breakfast or as a snack and keep the rest for later.
